FOOD INDULGENCE !!!

hmmm.. talking about food again!! ... well im not going to do my food reviews cuz it normally happens only in fine dining places that offers nice ambience and food but what 's in my entry today are two places that i visited last two days which i feel that thou there aren't fancy decos and attractive environment but do have wide spread of nice foody ....

let's see where are the two places that i mentioned earlier on ...

on sunday nite ... brought my family out to bottle tree village at sembawang ...

Located at the northern end of Singapore near Sembawang Park is a rustic outdoor seafood restaurant for those who are not driving it might be a little inaccessible as there is a very long drive in before you reach the restaurant ... It is called Bottle Tree Village because of 6 Bottle Trees imported by the owner from Queensland, Australia. Overlooking the Straits of Johor, it is the site of the former Sembawang Sea Sports Center. Apart from bottle trees, grass trees, giant ferns and palms, also imported from Australia can be seen around the Bottle Tree Village.
There is amply dining space, either in the shaded patios or just by the sea. Kids will also enjoy some free time in between dinner on the decked area beside the fountain.

The seafood served at Bottle Tree Village is not the best you can get in Singapore but the place is unique. On weekends, you need to make a reservation in order to secure a table by the sea.

& they serve mainly chinese cuisine and fresh seafoods

from top left - prawn paste chicken and Hk style steam fish
from bottom left - fried banana with scallop fritters and claypot fish maw and braised sea cucumber ( which i dun eat LOL )

NEXT ..
on monday ....

had to attend my regular duty at expo interior exhibition .. was a busy day for me ... as well for my colleagues ... therefore we only had our dinner late .. er .. supper actually! after we knock off at ten .... we drove down nearby to this stretches of shops at bedok ....


this shop , i believe has an strong influence of east meet west concept for their food .. thou there are'nt nice sitting areas and ambience ... ( reminds me of prata shops at jalan kayu ) but they do offer a delectable variety of food , by looking at the wide selections and disturbing yummy pictures from menu will not conclude any dish to order , hence me and my colleagues made random picks ... and of cuz there's still lots more to try ... !

this banana wrap with ice cream is a MUST TRY dessert of their shop ! SLURRPPP =p

and after two days of "sinful " spreads
