weekend short getaway ..

yes ! my weekend was short but a fulfilling for sure, thou i spend about 12 hours travelling back and forth from spore to genting ... yeah i'm back there again haha .. not because of the casinos .. well, im definitely not into gambling but our ( me & sherlyn ) main purpose for the trip was there to attend our fav all time idol which is also known as the asia hongkong pop diva's " comeback concert " ... ( sammi cheng ) ..

we set off on sat morning and return on sunday nite , hours was short but we still manage to have some fun .. did loads of stuff too .. so let's check them out =p


sammi's concert ....


although most of my Hk friends mention that the concert in genting might be a small scale compare to the one she had in Hk but ultimately it's still worth watching to me and the crowd was so high not to mention her too ... thumbs up for her wonderful effort in the performance .

i used to like her in my younger days ... my very " last season " idol .. time flies ... gosh .. im turning "uncle " soon ... =(

anyway let's see what's i've got here .....



we tried this claypot Pork ribs soup on our last trip to genting , we both swear that we if we have the chance again we will be back for it ! the soup is dammmmnn tasty not to even mention the generous portion of the ingredients .


of cuz there are some authentic food in malaysia that are must try !!

one of them is A&W

definitely not to be missed ! ... miss those days when i used have them when im young , no longer found in spore ... so sad ... already " extinct " lol

3. fried banana fritters
4. malaysia "style" katsu chicken cutlet curry rice


found my fav DUNKIN DONUTS on our way back to spore in one of the petrol kiosk while we are having our toilet break .. i'm overwhelmed =D

1. there are only 16 seater on this double deck bus , there's a conference room cum ktv on the first deck .. The seats are fully wrapped with beige leather and equipped with in built massage device ..

2. personal 10 inch LCD monitor with movies , music and games ..

3. there's even steward on board and serve food and beverages ...

4. blanket too ...

1. their so call " spacious seats " and their " flora " looking wrapped fabric seats .. hehe ...
2. and their LCD screen tv with no head phones provided ... bleah ....

fyi ... there's no food ... no on board steward ... no massage device .... no blanket .... and worst the price difference between transtar and them is not much ! therefore there's not much pictures for me to snap also ...

NOTE THE DIFFERENCE !!

and i swear that i will never want to travel to malaysia with grassland heheh!
