a taste of Asian fusion ...

someone commented and ask me why am i always either doing western cuisines or baking.. since i'm quite into cooking ... hence today i thought of doing up a subtle combination that has a strong asian chinese influence fusion dish - pan fried pork with mushroom sauce ....( might remind you of the roast pork you normally see in the chicken rice stall in the neighbourhood ) ... wonder if i can make it ... haha .... give me ur honest comments ! ha

to kick off ...

INGREDIENTS for the dish ...

pork
mushrooms
chili padi
chopped garlic
spring onions
asparagus
flour
starch
black pepper
oyster sauce
sesame oil
soya sauce

FIRST

marinate the pork with oyster sauce , sesame oil , soya sauce and coat with flour before frying
( for better results , allow the marinate to penetrate into the pork well for about 20 mins )

pan fried the pork till crispy brown and cut into half ...

For the dressing , i use sesame oil , oyster sauce , black pepper , soya sauce and starch with water ..

pour oil onto the pan ... follow by chopped garlic , chili padi , spring onions ,mushrooms and lastly the dressing , im absolutely infatuated with the combo of garlic , chilies and spring onions ! thou they are traditionally taste basic but complement well for all kinds of food ..

To Garnish ..

pour the mushroom sauce onto the middle of the plate with asparagus and place the pork lastly on top ..

This is a real asian chinese fusion of my very very own style of cooking that has a very appealing visual as well as tasty effect . =)

PAN FRIED PORK WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE ..

hmm..smells nice haha..
hmm normally the spring onions i wont fry together with the sauce...i dunno it seems better sprinkled on for the smell will be more pungent since ur sauce u already have garlic and chilli so frying together actually would cover the spring onion smell so perhaps consider garnishing with chopped spring onion instead hehe..
wow...finally something im into..asian cuisine hehe..hope u dun mind me suggestions..
Anyway, ur asian cuisine still looks TOO NICE laR! haha..machiam restaurant siah....=x cos u made me think im the only who cooks n makes a MESS in presentation! hah..
