This place is a 10 X upsized clone of the Ikea at Alexandra. I particularly enjoy the style it represents - it reminds me of my those cafe in Denmark and North Germans ..
Reservation: Tie handkerchief to the chair to reserve the table but no advance booking. Go early on weekends or like me if possible visit in non peak period during weekdays . Parking is free, but remember where you park, the car park is quite huge that you might not remember where you park your car. in fact it look like a mini Sweden, Norway or Denmark, just spend the day there. The aircon is cold enough to remind you of Europe in winter. Enjoy the neat tables and chairs, everything is light coloured and im in love with the large panels of glass reflecting the sunlight from the windows. I wish I could get a hand on the service tray trolleys with wheels to push around the food, it is so happening and new. Many many people, queuing and rushing for food - pointing and grabbing .. lastly prices were affordable and reasonable ...
THE FOOD

of course the must try item will be the swedish meat balls ! 'm so in love with it !... had their today's special : fried fillet with curry rice ... portion was big and so were the fish , im amazed as it only cost not lower than $4.90 ! but in fact my fav for the day was smoked salmon ! somehow i was so attached to it ! wish i can order more if i can gobble all !!! mention about the coffee did excite me as im a big coffee lover ! it smell good and tasty and its refillable ! hah ! but i didn't manage to try the chicken wings that everyone been raving over it , of cuz they do have a delectable array of cakes and desserts too .
THE SERVICE

Responsive, if a little sullen. Don't expect too much ... any smiles to come your way and you'll do fine ;)
Have to mention that you're supposed to clean up by yourself afterwards, by bringing the tray to a designated area somewhere near the entrance. I think it's a great move! Kudos to IKEA for successfully getting lazy people to haul their butts out to actually do something useful. =)

its pretty fun to shop at ikea sometimes,all e interesting stuff.anw guess wat..i have never been to tamp ikea at all!!but i am happy with e one near my place:)
