Duncan's Food Review ( 1 )

( Thick french toast with peanut butter )

( forget about teh tarik , hk ice milk tea is the best ! )

( wide selection of food )

( mixed grilled baked cheese curry rice )

THE LOCATION
-------------
Kim gary hong kong restaurant @ vivo city ( first and only branch in singapore )

THE VIBE
---------
Walls are imbued with splashes of lime green and metallic strips of feature wall with
glass mosaic panellings . Quite comfortably space layout of chairs , tables and of course with a traditional outlook of a typical hk cafe with built in settees and table . lastly the restaurant boasts a much appreciated view of the beautiful waterfront.

THE FOOD
----------
i have always crave for authentic hk cuisine , i didnt try much food today but i guess it should be as good as the menu pictures display .For a tantalising start to any meal, try the thick french toast , its generous portion of the peanut butter and crispy coat of the toast is definitely a great appetiser and of course not forgetting the thick milky authentic fragrance from their local ice milk tea .. and moving to the next dish is the generous portion of the mixed grilled baked cheese curry rice , it comprises of chicken , pork chop , potatoes , sausages , bacons and egg the only thing i feel that's not so ideal is the very localise way of cooking their curry ..

THE SERVICE
-----------
realise most of the staffs standing at the glass paneled kitchen area near the entrance , The staff was understandably busy as it was peak, just before Chinese New Year. However, service was still professional and acceptable , the dishes came after quite a wait. in general this is one of the hk restaurant that im quite pleased with , just regret never end with any of their desserts before i leave .. hee ..
