Catch of the day .

i'm finally back with a food posting !!
but this time round i'm will not be baking ..
oh well ..
it's been quite sometime since i last whipped up yummy dishes.. geeeeezzz =p
haha .. anyway hope i wont disappoint anyone today here =)

let's check out what i've prepared for you guys !

INGREDIENTS

Olive oil
Parsley flakes
Basil leaves
Peppercorn
butter
tomatoes
lemon
Asparagus
Red snapper fillet

introducing my main ingredient ...

bought this tabletop spices ( mc cormick ) which
i personally find it convenient & useful cuz it has ground black pepper ,
garlic salt , italian seasoning and sea salt all in one small container .

Directions :

Rinse snapper under cold water and pat dry
season with sea salt , peppercorn , italian seasoning and garlic salt

Heat non stick pan over medium heat and add olive oil follow by the fillet ,
sear on both side for approx 2- 3 mins
until the skin is crisp and golden brown .

Next .
to make lemon butter herb dressing

melt butter in pan and add parsley flakes , basil leaves
italian seasoning , lemon zest & juice

place the red snapper on top of the asparagus
and drizzle lemon butter herb dressing over .

as usual i'm quite particular with my presentation ..
after garnishing ...
here you go !
featuring my creation of the day !

Pan seared Red snapper fillet with lemon butter herb

red snapper can be cooked in many ways but pan searing is quick
and it seals in all the goodness and flavour this fish has .
hence this is one of my favourite way to cook fish
and red snapper is also one of the most versatile types of fish available in the market .
beside that , this can be perfectly serve for alfresco dining too.

alright peeps ..
gotta hit to the bed soon
once again ,hope what i did today will be relished ^^
nite loves ....

this is guy who asked abt where u cut ur hair....

ermm.. how do u cut ur own hair???
i have tried trimming my own hair b4, but its really small bits of trimming.. at the fringe or maybe top... the back leh?

i do find it hard to believe u can cut ur own hair so nicely everytime...

then how do u cut at the back of the head? and how do u see the back of the head to get the shape n balance?

i ask coz i really need a good hair stylist...

i wun mind if u can cut my hair.. i can pay...

duncan said...

soundspace - i have been cutting my own hair since my army days . hmm i know its kinda hard to explain but it just work on me lol ... i use a small mirror to cut my back n trim , im jus so used to cut it so i also dunno how to explain to u but then i dunno how to cut other people hair haha
