Bloody soccerween ...

For those who had already seen jeremy's or benjamin's blog .. sorry for the late posting here , .... but thought i better post em up before it gets stale ...

anyway i was'nt in right clubbing mood lately .. however i ended up partying with my friends at zouk for halloween last saturday ... preparation was kinda in a rush but we thought halloween is never never only bloody vampires or creepy hair raising looking ghost etc ... anymore ....

instead ... we had a soccer theme ....

Back For Baking ...

Hello everyone !

as promised , i'm back with baking again ..

as plan initially , i wanted to surprise someone with my home bake birthday cake , unfortunately didn't manage to ( dun ask me why -_- ) but i know that's not a valid reason stopping me to bake still =p
hence in today's entry after sorting out some thoughts ... i decided to work on cupcakes instead of a cake .. what's the difference ? check it out below .. hopefully it look as astonish as what you see ... as usual , less words more action! let's see what's needed for the recipe ....

INGREDIENTS


150g (5oz) all purpose flour Flour
110g (4oz) Butter
110g (4oz) Caster Sugar
2 Eggs
300ml Milk
vanilla powder
few drops of vanilla essence
1 tsp of baking powder
vanilla frosting
strawberry jam
fresh strawberries
chocolate strawberry flakes
waffle sticks

to kick off ..

sift all purpose flour , baking powder , vanilla essence , eggs , caster sugar , butter , vanilla powder and milk into a bowl

Add strawberry jam into the batter and mix thoroughly ..


carefully spoon the batter mixture into the paper cases to within two- third of the top


preheat the oven to 350 degree and bake for about 25 mins till well risen and firm to touch


Leave it to cool on the tray for about 10 mins


For frosting .. i choose this vanilla frosting from betty crockers , swear by me ... it's really tasty !

NEXT ...

put the vanilla cream in a piping bag with a round nozzle and pipe onto the cakes in your desire direction ...

To dramatize the presentation a little ... i topped my cupcakes with fresh strawberries , waffle sticks and chocolate strawberry flakes ,

Just when i need u most ...

knowing that i'm pretty down in the dumps for the past few days , appreciate my buddies making efforts to stay by my side when i really need them ... oh well ... at least i'm emotionally stable and better now =D .. rather pen down my thoughts here ... somehow it seems that i have alot in mind but nothing comes out of my mouth when im ready to tell ...guess i'm still struggling ? i dunno ... maybe that's a reason why i did it here ... not to tell everyone how much i feel to date but i'm just enjoying one privilege my blog is giving right ? ... anyway ... do apologize if my blog bored you for the past few emo entries .... i somehow feel that it's time to glaze up with more cheerful ones than any of my boring melancholy stories right ? glum and sulky duncan suck a real big time ! be happy be happy ! ... alright ... sharing here today is a recapped of what i did on the last week ... =)
