The Art of STRESS management ....


Sometimes , i do wonder if i'm a born workaholic or maybe right now i'm trying to recover the losses i made in the upper half of the year .. and if it's really true... i'm indeed overwork .. currently quite worn out mentally and physically ... Days are not always as colorful as the rainbow ... we do have days that are dull dark ... i know i should'nt be complaining constantly here but venting out my here with words seems effective to me at least , i'm sure my friends around me wont want to listen to all my craps ... from what i know.. nowadays most of the people suffer stresses be it students or working adults hence today .. sharing is some of the things i will do to relieve stress .. if u ask if it works ? i really dunno , but been doing that all these while .. =P

for those who are suffering from stress for the biggest time like me .. maybe some of em below might work for you as well .... =)

today .. i shortlisted my top 8 ways to relieve stress ...

1ST

bake em up !
it definitely goes to my biggest fav past time cooking/ baking ! ... i do not posses the best culinary skill but i bake whenever im really stress up ! maybe its my passion hence it really works for me ! especially when i see the every single amount of effort i put in from the start to the end product .. it really brighten up my day !

2ND

eating !
Under stress , eating well is more important than ever , i remember reading from an article saying , one of the key success for a chef is " you must love to eat " haha .. well i'm not really going to be a chef but i think i really do enjoy eating ( maybe i'm just born glutton ! ) and i dun mind spending on food alone .. a good meal a day is a must for me ! not to mentioned when the time im really vexed up .. i will eventually pig myself out and gobble whatever i can !

3RD

Disappear !
I know this isn't very advisable and encouraging ... to me it's the worst yet most effective way to escape lol .. when i'm always going to explode i will perform a " disappearing act " switch off my phone and no one will be able to locate me ! hehe ... =p

4TH

Party !
This work very well for those " five days " work office ladies .... after a hectic war of five days work , some of em will let their hair down ..put on their dresses , heels and start crazy partying non stop .. for me i do party to forget about all my worries during that few hours too .. especially drinking help to relax and escape for a time as well ... but appropriate amount of liquor do work but dun over drink it as it may lead to become an alcoholic ... using alcohol to escape of a problem is sometimes a risky behaviour that can develop into a major dependence on it ...

5TH

Retail therapy !
always work ! .. ha who doesn't like shopping ?! haha some do.. some not .. im a known workaholic but im also a shopaholic as well!!! .. its basically shopping with the primary purpose of improving the buyer's mood or disposition ..it works well for people during depression or transition and those items are normally known as comfort buys to me ... with all the new stuffs i have ... i believe i can even smile bigger and wider than any of the hollywood actors in the red carpet lol ...

6TH

Shut Up and Drive !
i'm not talking about rihanna's song thou it's one of my most frequent played songs in my ipod .. ok . back to the content ... ever since i started driving , i love to drive alone at night for a spin round from place to place tuning to my fav radio station 99.5 fm lush ... so relaxing .... ooooh... live for MUSIC !!!!

7TH

stay positive !
Being grateful and appreciating your life and surroundings is one of the most effective ways to turn negative emotional state to a more positive one .. i dunno if this work but i always tell myself " its all in your mind " i have to keep reminding myself to smile ... choose to leave the pessimistic thinking and stay positive no matter how stress i am and hope for a better tomorrow . i know it seems easy to say than do but it's harmless to give it a try right ?

8TH

Good sex !
eh hemmm! .. i'm not gonna breathe anything on this .. make a guess ? lol ... for you to find out ! =p


UNHEALTHY ! UNHEALTHY !

most of the above are negative actions i should do to deal with stress hahah .. dun follow mine !...
maybe if u have better suggestions to deal with stress ? i dun mind hearing from you guys .. =)

sadly, stress is smth we can nvr escape from! ): the earth still revolves around the sun & we gotta live with it! so stay positive, don't worry be happy((:

&i party to the extreme when i feel stressed up too! not good la actually. haha! another alternative, sleep!:DD heh! or find lovely ppl who're able to make your day, laugh your stress away! tc uh!

finally new post came out. erm... u if are in the stress mood now.. me too~ haha... as many many thing happened at the same time sia!? alamak.. as everyday i back home at this time 4am-5am.. if open school then jalat sia.. ake up at 830am study til 5pm working from 6pm to 4-5am... imagine... my brain try to killing me inside =-="

be it humans or animals

which is sort of a gd way.
i also got 8ways to release stress too

1st- blogblogblog
2nd- write songs
3rd- singsingsing
4th- cry in my room whole day
5th- sleep n forget the unhappy days
6th- shout out loud in a big open area
[which feel shiok]
7th- talking to my bears in my room
8th- try my very best to walk thru positive tml

haha..but! i dun really like to share with friends nor family. im a independent person which wans to settle it all by myself. i dun like troubling others ard me. hee..

*ok all sort of craps..u better dun be too stress lo
make more funny faces to make urself cheer up.

-grab a pen & get into the puzzle game "sudoku"....im not pro but it definitely feels better after completing the puzzle...got 2 books in my office cos it is always the most stressful place...HAHA...

afterall i still like munching chocolates...lol...=P

ok, i must kowtow to your ways of relieving stress! but i also have to agree with party and staying positive, is really one of the good ways.

chatting up with good pals + good coffee sessions also do make a difference (ok, at least for me?)
