look carefully ! thats not digital edited , that's a pic i snap using my camera haha , all thanks to my dearest " model " sherlyn for accommodating the repeated jumps directed by me to get the best shot ! haha , in fact this pic was taken weeks back but i kinda like the result so thought of sharing here , i will polish up my photography skills and show more thought-provoking pictures next time .. =D

to be honest i never felt so " free " ever since i started work , dunno if im too bored of my job or subconsciously hinting the need to seek for a new prospect ? ( im so guilty !!!! but i feel so stuck agrrrr ! ) anyway during my unproductive days im not totally switch off , been reading up, get inspirations in my work and of course sourcing ideas for my food creations too ...
its a long procedure to finalize and clinch a deal , to me its probably as bad as going to battle in a war especially during this slow moving period , somehow i still cant get into the right mood or to even cultivate some " motivation " that im lacking of now but it was ironic that i still manage to close one deal this week =P , probably its a sign that god is answering my prayers ?? haha nevertheless im hoping that its a good start for me .. please buck up duncan ! =P

never say No !

To most of my friends who know me , im probably be the very last person to hit to the gym , as i use to tell them the hassles and journey travelling there just to spend that few hours in a public overcrowded area working out compared to my usual achievable swimming and jogging sessions .. but guess what ? for no better reasons i actually sign up a membership for 2 years today after trying out in a trial for a week accompanied by my good fren benjamin whom will be my gym buddy too =) .. anyway pretty looking forward to it , hopefully to attain something good in both spiritually and physically , guess there will be a little slight change in my weekly activities now beside my heavy involvement in my work morever im so call " bonded " to my new goal that im going to work on soon , hopefully not too late , so no more excuses anymore lol ..

simple decor and modern contemporary colours like chili red splashes over the wall with tinted black glass tables and wall paper finishing at walls and even ceiling , nothing impressive and spaces are quite constraint due to the limited area of the shop.

THE FOOD

An Izakaya is a pub or restaurant commonly found in cities in Japan.
It's a popular hang-out for the working crowds, especially after a day's hard work.
Besides the popular pub culture in Japan, the Japanese are known to pay great attention to the quality of ingredients used in their foods.
Exquisite presentation is also synonymous in the Japanese food culture.
When it comes to Japanese desserts, especially the authentic ones, it all boils down to four ingredients - red bean, sesame, green tea and kinako powder (that is the Japanese soy bean powder). So wherever you go, it will usually be in these four flavors. And the nation's taste is so focused that these four flavors, the Japanese will only eat the best quality foods. For example, they are particular about the red beans; they only eat red beans from Hokkaido because the prefecture has the best water and soil conditions to cultivate the best quality red bean.
There are even little tips to eat kanten jelly ( is something like jellys that we eat in spore but more chewy and less sweet ) these series contain japanese kanten jelly at the bottom of the dessert . kanten jelly is made from the root part of plant and is rich in fibre , thus in japan , its believed to have slimming effect and its very healthy . while kanten jelly is totally unsweeten & tasteless , native japanese pour the sause ( either honey / black or white sauce ) over the kanten jelly generously before eating . MOF black sauce for the kanten jelly series is made from black prunes & black dates , both fruits aids digestion .
in general the selection offered here very much follows the style of Hokkaido as well as wide selection of the authentic japanese desserts thou many comments about the similarities to Azabu Sabo which is part of a successful chain of Japanese Restaurants that has its origins from the funky street of Azabu in Shinjuku district, where its flagship outlet was opened, and has since expanded to 59 outlets in Japan , Hong Kong , Taiwan and finally Singapore . Anyway i will sure give it a try soon =P

happen to be unsure of an item in the menu which we wanted to order therefore trying to get help from the staff but was shocked by one after another when they cant even explain whats exactly that item , poor knowledge on their own food products . its a pity .

it was a wild nite for all red blooded females , catching the hot bachelors in actions , scoring chance to play games with them , checking out their dance moves and of cuz stripping off their clothes by the end of the nite , mayb wondering why we were ther ? cuz ..... were there to support some of our dearly frens who was rocking in show d of the nite too .. @ power house , st james power station ..
